Editorial policy

Editorial & Corrections Policy

How Moustache Barbers selects sources, distinguishes experience from evidence and handles corrections.

Purpose

We publish practical UK haircut guidance grounded in real barbering decisions: length, shape, communication, maintenance and comfort. Editorial pages must resolve a reader task rather than exist only to target a phrase.

Sources and verification

First-hand shop observations are labelled as practical experience. Health, sensory, equipment and other material claims use named primary or authoritative sources where available. Volatile prices and hours are routed to the current booking source until directly confirmed.

Authorship and assistance

Moustache Barbers Editorial is the accountable publishing organisation. Drafting, research organisation or language review may use automation, including AI assistance, but published responsibility remains with the organisation. We do not invent barbers, credentials, tests or customer quotations.

Commercial independence

A link to book the shop is commercial context, not evidence for a recommendation. Advertising, affiliate or sponsored relationships must be disclosed and cannot purchase a favourable conclusion.

Corrections

Send the page URL, the disputed statement and supporting evidence to server@moustachebarbers.com. Material factual errors are corrected promptly; the review date changes only after substantive review.

Effective and last reviewed: 25 September 2026.
